Why I can pull this off
A fair question.  The shortest and most direct answer is because I've made the decision to it.  That may sound arrogant and it wouldn't be the first time I've been called that, but those who understand the power of making a decision to really do something will relate.  Once you make the decision, the rest is just detail.  I've decided to do this and however long it takes, I'll publish the book, even if it's only enough copies to send each of the contributors one copy.

Some other reasons:

  • I'm not alone
  • I love and write goth poetry, I'm a romantic at heart
  • I have access to the literary talent to ensure a balanced solid anthology
  • I'm smart
  • I'm not doing it for the money, I don't need it.
  • I can market the book and will use the proceeds for the benefit of writers.(see: the festering of the idea)
  • I really believe there would be a demand for such a book
  • I don't give up
