Purpose
The purpose of this site
is to collect submissions of for the creation
of an anthology of gothic poetry, short stories and art. In the interim,
the site is also serving a tool to recruit help for this project.

The Book
The concept of the book is
in the process of being refined. Though written in English, the material
will be sourced on a global scale over the Internet. It will be an
anthology wrapped in engaging editorial, telling the story of a world relegated
to the shadows whose characters are as real as the everyday reader.
We will expose a philosophy,
worldview, mind set, thoughts, feelings and emotions, too long obscured
the shadows. Those who are in touch with the darkness are not evil,
macabre or grotesque. They are however in touch with a side that
exists within all of us. This side is often feared, ignored or lulled
into a Matrix-like numbness from the pounding McDisneyfication that envelopes
our daily lives. We will bring the darkness out into the daylight
and let everyone see.
The Money
Whatever money the sales
of the book generate above the costs incurred will be put toward a foundation
to fund young artists and writers. This is not a project for an individual’s
profit.
The
Warriors
We are all busy. We
all have rent to pay and groceries to buy. Yet we are all devoting
our time and talents to make this happen. To date our growing crew
spans three countries and two continents.
